Pairing of opera and wines outdoors
Last Saturday June 4th took place, in the idyllic exteriors of the Finca Son Vich de Superna, the 4th Edition of the Bodega Son Vich de Superna Concert. An event that is part of the 4th Festival MallorcÒpera, organized by Bodega Son Vich de Superna and Euroclàssics, with the collaboration of the Consell de Mallorca.
Fernando Sampol, manager of Son Vich de Superna Winery has celebrated, once again this year, an event that perfectly combines the talent of emerging local artists with the high quality wines produced in the estate where the winery is located, in the heart of the emblematic Serra de Tramuntana.
The concert was filled with arias, romanzas and duets from opera and zarzuela performed by tenor Joan Láinez, soprano Raquel Llera and pianist Maria Victoria Cortés, who starred in the music recital and interpreted iconic and emblematic songs such as the famous Nessun Dorma or the classic Brindis from La Traviata.
During the intermission, the music recital was paired with the wines that Bodega Son Vich de Superna produces on the same estate, high-end, elegant and structured wines that have the characteristic flavor of the Serra de Tramuntana, which provides a unique identity.
Bodega Son Vich de Supera highlighted an exquisite selection of wines to match the event. Attendees were offered the opportunity to taste the flavor of Son Vich de Supera through a wide variety of reds: Costers, Esencia and Expresión, as well as Viognier and Marges whites were also proposed.
The gastronomic-musical event, which had a full capacity, was a success among the attendees who enjoyed an evening full of terroir wines, accompanied by excellent artists in an exceptional location in the cultural landscape of the Serra de Tramuntana.
