Last Saturday, at the Bodega Son Vich de Superna we presented our second edition of “Aires de Tramuntana”, a concert of opera and wine pairing where the audience enjoyed a great evening, with the performance of the pianist M. Victòria Cortés and the privileged voices of Marga Cloquell, soprano, and Joan Laínez, tenor, who delighted all the attendees with their brilliant musical sense, performing arias, romances and opera and zarzuela duos.
All this despite the fact that the inclemency of the weather forced us to relocate the staging. The initial idea, like the previous year, was to carry out the event in the main class of the farm, but finally it was carried out inside the winery itself. What generated a magical atmosphere and a surprising acoustic quality as highlighted by the Mallorcan soprano resident in Barcelona, Marga Cloquell “the acoustics are privileged, similar to the church effect”, which was noticeable in the forcefulness of her performance that caused them to finish , to the delight of the public, an encore. At the end, our own wines from the Serra de Tramuntana were served in the tasting room, paired with local products
