Son Vich de Superna winery we are very pleased to present our new wine Es Fresc, the most summery red wine of the Tramuntana.
It is a light red wine with a long drink, elaborated looking for freshness, harmony and sweetness. It is a wine that we have created for chilled consumption during the hot summer days as an alternative to the refreshing whites and rosés. For this purpose we have selected Tempranillo, Mantonegro and Merlot grapes, fermented with indigenous yeasts, seeking the minimum extraction and maceration.
Tasting notes
Pale ruby color and low robe. Nose of delicate bouquet with aromas of ripe red fruits, light notes of coffee, tobacco, cherry and currants. Smoky notes from its brief time in oak barrels. The palate is light, sweet and silky in texture. Fresh and balanced with notes of red fruits and smoke that remind us of its nose. A refreshing and appealing red wine.
Pairings
It goes well with Mediterranean cuisine, BBQ, pâtés, nuts, rice dishes and grilled fish or fish in sauce.
