Pairing of opera and wines outdoors
On Saturday June 3 took place in the idyllic clastra of the estate Son Vich de Superna, the 5th Edition of the Concert Maridaje de ópera y vinos. An event that is part of the 5th Festival MallorcÒpera, organized by Bodega Son Vich de Superna and Euroclàssics, with the collaboration of the IEB and the Consell de Mallorca, and sponsored by Quality Center-Range Rover.
Fernando Sampol, manager of the winery, once again celebrated the traditional event that perfectly combines the talent of the artists with the high quality wines produced in the estate where the winery is located, in the heart of the emblematic Serra de Tramuntana.
The concert was filled with opera arias and duets by Mozart, Gounod, Dvorak, Albéniz, Bernstein, performed by the Slovak soprano Sonya Godarská and the Czech baritone Vratislav Kriz, accompanied on the piano by the famous local pianist Francesc Blanco.
During the intermission, the music recital was paired on the upper terrace with the wines that Bodega Son Vich de Superna produces on the same estate, high-end, elegant and structured wines that have the characteristic flavor of the Serra de Tramuntana, which provides a unique identity.
Bodega Son Vich de Supera highlighted an exquisite selection of wines to match the event. Attendees were offered the opportunity to taste the flavor of Son Vich de Supera through a wide variety of reds: Supernins, Costers, Esencia and Expresión, as well as the whites Viognier and Marges, and the rosé Llàgrima de Superna were also proposed. In addition, the pairing was accompanied by local products.
The gastronomic-musical event, which had a full capacity, was a success among the attendees who enjoyed an evening full of Vi de la Terra, accompanied by excellent artists in an exceptional location in the cultural landscape of the Serra de Tramuntana.
