From the best sunrise-facing slopes of the Serra de Tramuntana to achieve its characteristic personality. Strains selected from an area covering 1.4 hectares. Patiently made; the grapes are destemmed without being crushed, fermented at a low temperature and macerated for 30 days in stainless steel and oak vats. They remain in their lees without additives for five months. It ages for 12 months in American oak and remains in the bottle for another 10 months.
Very deep cherry colour. On the nose it is a balance of fruits, mineral, and lee and barrel aging. Pleasing, voluminous and elegant attack with velvety texture. Good balance of acidity and alcohol grade. Very long finish where the varietal and aging aromas reappear.
Pairs with all kinds of meats, including lamb and suckling pig, and also with cured cheeses, foie gras and mushroom dishes.
