On June 25, we had the pleasure of holding an exclusive vertical tasting of our Viognier wine at the Wine Lovers store. The event brought together an enthusiastic group of wine overs who shared their passion for this excepcional variety.
Before the tasting, Paul Faurie, Commercial Manager of the winery, gave a presentation of Son Vich de Superna. He explained the unique characteristics of the winery, highlighting our commitment to quality and sustainability. In addtion he delved into the fascinating history of the Viognier variety, its evolution over time and the challenges overcome for its cultivation in the region. Paul alsoo shared our vision for the future of this variety, anticipating the potential for growth and international recognition.
During the tasting, we explored six different vintages of Viognier, allowing to appreciate the extraordinary evolution of its characterisitcs over time. The quality and complexity of the wines pleasantly surprised all the attendees, who highlighted how the inherent structure of the Viognier variety contributes to its positive transformation in bottle, even in its young versions.
