Viognier 2020 one of the best Viognier wines in Spain

Our Viognier 2020 has recently been selected by the publication Tendenciashoy.com as one of the best wines produced with Viognier grapes in Spain.

Tendencias.hoy has published a fantastic report in which it explains the interesting story of this type of nearly extint grape, and it highlights the seven best references of wines produced with viognier in the Spanish territory. Other wineries in the Balearic Islands use this grape, but Son Vich de Superna Viognier 2020 is the only one in these islands classified in the report as one of the best in Spain.

Viognier is a variety known as “grapes from hell” due to the difficulty to breed. At Son Vich de Superna Winery, its vines are grown in a slope of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain. With few hours of sunschine and deep soil, it receives a certain salinity charactristic of Mallorca island.

Viognier 2020 has a golden yellow colour. A wine which entry into the mouth is very voluminous and unctuous. It has a very long maturation, with much acidity and great aromatic balance.

It goes hand in hand with Mediterranean cuisine, white meats, nuts, rice and grilled fish or in sauce.
